Plan of action
To carry out a thorough investigation of the client requirements, I need to plan with precision the process of gathering relevant data that will assist me in the recommendation of the most appropriate system for each user. Detailed planning will make my investigation much more effective. I have decided to use the two following techniques of data collection:
- Interviews
- Questionnaire
Note: I would normally use observation and have face-to-face meetings with the relevant staff of my client company, but because this company has just been established, the use of these techniques would have no effect.
I will then create a 'file' on each employee. Each 'file' will list all the tasks and needs of each and will contain an assessment (based on my current knowledge) of two existing systems that meet similar needs. Click next to continue...
