Site monitoring and management

On this page I will attempt to show how I have performed my role as a web manager in a highly competent and effective manner. Evidence of updating and managing content using Textpattern...

Below is a snapshot of me editing Ryan's second article. This was done with him to show him how to make best use of the features of the software known as Textile. The pane on the left shows how to _emphasize_ text, make it *stronger* and so on.

Completely separating the textual content from the presentation is a very effective way of managing and controlling the site as a whole. It means that the web manager is not needed to add content to most areas of the site giving more control to the partners themselves. It enables the web manager to concentrate on more technically satisfying work like implementing new features and fit for purpose plugins. It also allows users to search the content of the site effectively.
