Evidence of upload
This page includes explicit evidence of how I successfully uploaded the website.
Creating a FTP account
First I created a new ftp account in my.segpub, below is a snapshot of me doing this.

Below is a snapshot of the account's existence:

Connecting to the FTP server
I then proceeded to create a FTP share in my user area at /home. Using Linux, connecting to the PSD part of my remza.co.uk FTP server 'root' account was very easy. I just made use of the built-in 'Connect to server' option in my Linux distribution's 'System' menu and configured it as below.

I was then prompted for the 'root' account's password which I entered, and instantly I had full access to the web server using FTP, just as it were simply another folder on my hard drive. It only had two files in it, index.php and splash.png. The index.php just was some xhtml containing a link to display a splash image, shown right.
I was extremely impressed by the smooth process thus far and for the notice saying: “Should you require any assistance with uploading your website please feel free to contact us!” It was then when I felt totally sure that I had made the correct web host choice.
Uploading the web site using FTP
It was then time to upload the web site's files, so I deleted the two files already on the server and then dragged and dropped the web site into the folder. After I had completed this process, the folder looked as below.
I then logged off the root account and discovered that a new desktop item had appeared, shown right. Don't you just love Linux! It was now time to test the web site thoroughly to ensure that it functions as intended and is easy for someone to use.
