Explanation of prototyping process

Having done the ground work and laid the foundations of this program, I must now start building the actually product itself. I have a good idea of what the code will contain, thanks to the functional specification and the design documents I have created.

With this product, surprisingly there is an awful lot to do. Thankfully, the evolutionary-delivery method I've chosen to adopt will allow me to gradually develop the product, bit by bit, using prototyping to enable potential users to guide me each step of the way. The prototypes won't be thrown away after being used but built upon, being adjusted and refined with the help of feedback from the main stakeholder: Mrs R Hollands.

At the moment, due to my lack of experience with working with XML, VBA and programming in general, I believe this is the best route to take. However, I will try to avoid my lecturer 'hand-holding' me throughout the whole process by working independently.
